In February 2021, SHaME Principal Investigator Joanna Bourke interviewed sociologist Dr Gethin Rees, who is a Lecturer in Sociology at Newcastle University.

Watch their interview here in which Joanna and Gethin speak about how Science and Technology Studies approaches can help us understand forensic science and forensic medicine’s interventions in sexual violence cases, the development and contentious role of ‘visualisation technologies’, and as always, some words of wisdom for early career researchers.
