WOW Event: Another Pandemic – Male Violence Against Women

The WOW Foundation is holding an urgent evening of discussion on Sunday 21 March 2021 in response to the pandemic of male violence against women and girls.

Online

The global realities of male violence against women are shocking and unrelenting.

In response to the murder of Sarah Everard, the murdered sisters Nicole Smallman and Bibaa Henry, the dismissal of legal challenges to how rape policy is prosecuted in the UK, the unheard voices of girls, trans, disabled and indigenous women, domestic abuse statistics, and protests across India and Australia, WOW is holding an urgent evening of discussion this Sunday 21 March 2021 at 6.30pm GMT.

SHaME are proud to be a partner on this important event and our Principal Investigator, Professor Joanna Bourke, will be one of the many speakers from across the world speaking to share the strategies and demands for change that are happening already and the actions we can all take now.

Please join us at this free event to hear this urgent discussion. And please share this event with male friends, allies and family members to book.
